36 Shinjuku-gyoenmae／新宿御苑前

Shinjuku-gyoenmae Station is a ten-minute walk from the center of Shinjuku shopping and amusement area.  Compared to the Shinjuku area, it has a quiet atmosphere.

There are office buildings and residential apartments.  A public elementary school and a public kindergarten are located in Hanazono Park.

When I was young, I wanted to live in an apartment on the north side of Shinjuku-gyoen, where you can enjoy affluent greenery and a good access to the chaotic Shinjuku downtown.

Shinjuku-Gyoen was established in 1906 as a property of the imperial family and opened to public as a national garden in 1949.
