Cameras and Lenses
When I was around 15 years old, I asked my father to buy a SLR for family use for a year or more and he finally bought Nikon F3 and AI Nikkor 50mm F1.4. This camera, which I have at my hand now, is the first camera I used for taking pictures for fun. In the late 1990’s, I had a chance to travel around Asian countries for one year with Nikon New FM2 and AI Nikkor 24mm f2.8, 50mm f1.4 and 135mm f2.8 and Contax T2. In early 2000’s, I bought a used Hasselblad 501C/M and Planner 80mm f2.8 and was surprised by the image quality of 6×6 format. As for the digital cameras, I bought SONY DSC-R1, my first digital camera, in 2006, Nikon D300 in 2008 and Nikon D800 in 2013. When I bought Nikon D800, I also bought Fuji X-M1 and XF35mm f1.4 as a sub camera and found that its image quality is excellent, and I decided to sell Nikon digital SLR cameras and lenses when I bought Fuji X-Pro2 in 2016.
Since 2016, I have been taking photographs with Fuji cameras, X-M1 (2013-), X-Pro2 (2016-), X-H1 (2018-2020), X-T4 (2020-2022), X-E3 (2020-2021), X-E4 (2021-) and X-T5 (2022-), and fifteen single focus lenses (eleven XF lenses and four manual focus lenses) and two XF zoom lenses.
