The University of Tokyo is the top and the largest university in Japan.  Below is a photo of main street leading to Yasuda Auditorium.

There are baseball and football grounds in the campus.  The baseball team belongs to Tokyo Big6 Baseball League.  When I was a student, the team suffered 70 consecutive defeats.

Old quiet residential areas surround the campus.

Natsume Soseki wrote his first novel “I am a cat” at his home in this area.  The statute of cat in memory of the house is on the right side of the photo.
